My name is Xavier Thibodeaux, and I'm 18 years old. I was born on December 8th, 2007, in Lafayette, Louisiana—a place that shaped who I am and the values I carry into everything I do. Growing up in Louisiana taught me resilience, faith, and the importance of community. Today, I'm the founder of Nexlevltech, and I want to share my story with you—not because it's perfect, but because it's real.
When I decided to start a business at such a young age, many people questioned whether I was ready. But I knew in my heart that God had placed a calling on my life to build something meaningful. Beyond running this store, I'm also an active member of the Louisiana Army National Guard, which has instilled in me discipline, commitment, and a sense of duty that extends far beyond myself.
My journey to Nexlevltech wasn't a straight path. Before this store, I launched Smartshelf Sales—and it failed. That failure stung, but it was also one of the most valuable lessons I've ever received. I learned that failure isn't the end; it's an experience designed to help us grow and learn better for our future attempts. Every mistake taught me something crucial about business, about myself, and about perseverance. I don't regret that chapter of my life—I'm grateful for it.
When I started Nexlevltech, I had less than $10 to my name, with my funds being exhausted after my first store. Most people would have seen that as a reason to quit before I even began. But I saw it as an opportunity to trust in something greater than my circumstances. I believed that if I worked diligently and consistently, God would provide. That belief has carried me through every challenge, every doubt, and every moment when the odds seemed impossible.
Today, my vision is clear: I want to make Nexlevltech my main source of income and soon, build a business that reflects my values and my faith. This store isn't just about selling consumer electronics and accessories—it's about proving that with faith, hard work, and unwavering commitment, anything is possible.
I won't pretend that the journey has been easy. Hardships have come, and they will continue to come. That's the reality of entrepreneurship and of life. But what I've learned is that hardships aren't obstacles to success—they're the pathway to it. It's not about avoiding challenges; it's about how we choose to overcome them. Every time I've faced a setback, I've had to lean on my faith in God and push forward with renewed determination. And every time I've done that, I've come out stronger on the other side.
Here's the truth that I want to leave you with: it's impossible to achieve real, lasting success without God. I don't say that as a cliché—I say it as someone who has lived it. The combination of faith in God and diligent, consistent work is the formula for blessings and breakthroughs. You can work hard without faith, but you'll burn out. You can have faith without work, but nothing will manifest. But when you combine unwavering faith with relentless effort, that's when miracles happen(James 2:22).
As I continue to build Nexlevltech, I'm doing it with the knowledge that God is my foundation. Every product we offer, every customer we serve, and every goal we achieve is a reflection of His provision and guidance. I'm 18 years old, and I'm just getting started. The best is yet to come.
